Today marks 24 years since 9/11/2001. On this somber day, I am grateful to be a policymaker. I vow to work tirelessly to protect the people of this great state. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was impacted by this devastating attack on our nation. May we never forget.
Happy back-to-school! Be sure to enjoy the final moments of summer break with your friends and family. It has been an eventful August, and it is not done yet!

One of the legislature's top priorities is to provide the best education possible for our children. I have been and will continue to be a strong voice for education.
It is hard to believe that Sine Die was two weeks ago! Although my legislative duties have lessened, I have community speaking engagements and meetings to attend. I have been fortunate to spend time with family and catch up on tasks that went undone during the session.
The 447th Legislative Session of the Maryland General Assembly (MGA) officially concluded on April 7, marking the end of one of the most consequential 90-day periods in a generation.
