2020 Senatorial Scholarship Information

Due to school closures relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are accepting an unofficial transcript or a copy of your most recent report card in lieu of an official transcript.  If you have any questions, please call our office at 410-841-3593 or send an email to pamela.beidle@senate.state.md.us.

The Application for Senator Beidle’s Scholarship can be found here.

There is a dedicated group of volunteers that make up the Scholarship Committee. They will review and consider all applications. The applicant's scholastic performance and the family's financial situation are taken into consideration. The Committee's recommendations will be presented to Senator Beidle prior to the end of the spring semester, and recipients will be notified of their award. Scholarships are only available if funding is allocated in the State Budget; should State funding not be provided this year, any applicants will be notified.

If you were previously awarded a 4- year renewable Senatorial Scholarship, you are not eligible for another Senatorial Scholarship. Your scholarship automatically renews for a total of 4 years. You can determine your previous award status by checking your profile on MHEC's online electronic data base - The Maryland College Aide Processing System (MDCAPS). In Order to be considered for a Senatorial Scholarship you must strictly adhere to the following directions.
