The 2020 Session Begins
The 2020 General Assembly session began at noon today. Senator Bill Ferguson was sworn in as the new Senate President replacing “President Emeritus” Mike Miller. Senator Miller, the longest serving Senate President, will remain in the Senate representing Legislative District 27. With the change in leadership comes many changes in Committee assignments, I have been fortunate to remain on the Senate Finance Committee and as Vice Chair of the Executive Nominations Committee.
