Yesterday, I had the honor of presiding over the Finance Committee's first 2024 voting session.

I have “dropped” 2 bills:

• SB329 Chesapeake Bay Trust - Authority to Retain Outside Counsel allows the Chesapeake Bay Trust to hire outside legal counsel. I’m proud to serve as the Senate’s appointee to the Chesapeake Bay Trust! Protecting our bay is vital to protecting our environment in Maryland.
• SB330 State Board of Dietetic Practice - Dietician-Nutritionists - Licensure Requirements updates the education requirements for Dieticians and Nutritionist.

SB388 Press Conference

Yesterday, alongside my colleagues, I was a part of a press conference to discuss SB388, The Lowering Prescription Drug Costs For All Marylanders Now Act of 2024!  I’m proud to be co-sponsoring this important legislation!

Anne Arundel County Chamber Breakfast

I was also pleased to speak at the Anne Arundel County Chamber’s Legislative Breakfast! I always look forward to this breakfast and getting the chance to catch up with some of the wonderful business leaders in our community.

Senate Office Schedule

My office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 4:30 pm during the session to schedule appointments and provide constituent service.  We are scheduling virtual and in-person appointments with myself or staff.
