Scholarships

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Financial Assistance. Delegate Scholarships are available, subject to funds allocated in the State Budget. I have formed a Scholarship Committee to review and consider all applications. The applicant’s scholastic performance and the family’s financial situation are heavily weighted. The House of Delegates Scholarship Application must be legible, completed in its entirety and returned along with an original transcript from your current educational institution and the mandatory written essay. The application, essay and transcript must be received no later than March 31, 2012. Please mail the above to:

The Committee’s recommendations will be presented to me prior to the end of the spring semester, and Scholarship Recipients will be notified of their award. Should State funding not be provided this year, all applicants will be notified.

It is advisable that you file the Federal 2012-2013 Financial Aid Packet. This packet is available in the guidance office at your school or on-line. You may be eligible for a General State, Senatorial or Federal Scholarships.
